Wat Khao Rang or
Sumnak Song Khao Rang appreciates an awesome area in
Phuket Town, sitting on the slant of the mainstream
Khao (Rang Hill). This is the place guests can find an extensive brilliant sitting Buddha – the first of its kind on the island. This enchanting sanctuary is occupied at weekends when local people visit.

It is called
Khao Rang Temple or
Wat Khao Rang (Wat" implies a sanctuary in Thai), situated in Phuket Town and here is the biggest in Phuket plated statue of a sitting Buddha. The sanctuary is partitioned into two sections: "Kuti" – on the left, a spot occupied by friars with the statue of Buddha on the top, and "Wihan" – on the privilege, the stately lobby, opened for guests, where I really went.

Wat Khao Rang grounds are separated in two territories. The first and muddled building supporting the sitting Buddha on its rooftop, with its back against the green slope, and the new sanctuary alongside it. This new building remains at the highest point of long stairs embellished with the typical green Naga snakes, all the more peaceful however with some great perspective on another sanctuary crosswise over town.
